My Top 5 Music Obsessions of the Day for Friday start out with the song that was stuck in my head on waking this morning. I think it has been spinning around in my subconscious ever since I watched The Jam documentary this past Wednesday (About the Young Idea - check it out here). Next up, Music-wise, is Sleaford Mods' "B.H.S.", which gets stuck in my head at about the halfway mark of my daily commute, for some reason. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds brings it next, with my favorite track from his self-titled, bird-flying album. Pete Yorn comes around with "Crystal Village" next, a song and video he recently posted, explaining the inspiration for the brown suit in the video (i.e. Nic Cage in Valley Girl). Tones on Tail ends this My Top 5 Music Obsessions of the Day in honor of finding out today that they put more Poptone tickets on sale...can't wait to see them in Las Vegas, in May.
