I won’t treat you like you’re oh so typical :: Video of the day

Closer :: Tegan and Sara Celebrating differences, the connection of friends, the fun of house parties and karaoke, Tegan and Sara’s new video for their new song Closer is exuberant and just so much fun. I find myself feeling nostalgic from the house parties I used to co-host, and the monthly potlucks I used to have, as well. It also reminds me of how much I enjoy karaoke, and how significant it will always be to me as it is how I met my lovely husband. It makes me want to throw a party again, sometime soon. When You Were Mine (live, MTV Video Awards) :: Cyndi Lauper Once upon a time we used to go to the MTV video awards together, back when they were something to see, back when they still played videos on MTV. I think I have always had a thing for girl’s singing Prince songs, Cyndi Lauper, Tegan and Sara, Sinead O’Connor, The Bangles. This is probably my favorite, though…both Cyndi’s versions, and Tegan and Sara’s.
