A Big Loan From the Girl Zone

“I need a big loan from the girl zone” has been in and out of my thoughts lately. The Tori Amos lyric, from her 1996 album Boys for Pele, has made it into the pages of my journal, and into other writings I’ve done lately. “Caught a Lite Sneeze”, and the Boys album as a whole, is a break-up album, so I suppose it all makes sense. The weight of everything feels too much to carry, yet I still keep moving, with or without that girl zone loan.
