Red lips and the songs that get away

The rain comes and goes, just like the chill in the air. I’ll start today with leggings under my dress and a sweater over it, two cups of coffee with peppermint creamer, the kind that tastes like Christmas morning. I’m unfocused and distracted, wishing for a day with just a book and a blanket. But, that’s not what Mondays are typically made of. So, I’ll sip my coffee and press play. We do what we do to get by.
