Its been a bit since I last shared songs here. I was in the midst of a transition, and now am in a lot of training. Grateful for the new opportunity and challenges, but a bit overwhelmed. Trying to carve out space for me amidst the changes, for writing, for music, for creating and curating, and for rest. The latter isn’t my strong suit, but I’m trying to tailor it fit me.
I’ve usually been a 30-song girl when it came to playlists, but lately I’ve been feeling something different, something shorter, something that I can really get to know, and play, over and again.
Here’s 12 that I’m swimming around in right now.

Track 1 – “Female Energy, Part 2” by WILLOW
“Oh, and I’m falling into the arms of naked truth.
Not surprised to see the sky and know what I must do.”
“Can’t shake the feeling,
that I’m just bad at healing.”
“Got a wishbone dryin’ on the windowsill in my kitchen,
just in case I wake up and realize,
I’ve chosen wrong.”
“And oh, my love when it gets dark,
I know you’re feeling lost like this.
And oh my love, fates will pass,
but we’re still standing at the edge.”
“Soy una experta en la elegancia.
Tengo las mas expensive fragancias.
Baby vámonos a Francia.
Es de Madrid y me dice gracias.”
“So tell me,
before we get older let’s do everything,
you’re scared of when it’s over.”
“Pushed around and kicked around,
always a lonely boy.
You were the one that they’d talk about around town as they put you down.”
“And I have this dream where I’m screaming underwater,
while my friends are all waving from the shore,
and I don’t need you to tell me what that means,
I don’t believe in that stuff anymore.”
“Just a sigh,
just a sigh.
Words my love just reply.”
don’t know who you are.”
“I took the long way home,
over the tracks and past his house.
But where oh where would the lantern lead?
I walk until it hits me.
Just give me a little more time.”
“In this far away place,
where just saying your name,
gets me drunk on distance,
and every night feels the same.”
