Kate Bush – My Top Ten

How about some Top Ten Tuesday listing goodness today?

I’ve been thinking about, and listening to, a lot of Kate Bush lately. She’s on the nomination/voting list for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (you can vote for your favorite artists/bands here).

I remember the first Kate Bush song I heard. “Running Up That Hill”, on KROQ, my 80’s radio addiction. I heard “Wuthering Heights” soon after. I saw it with the video, I believe when Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes, of Duran Duran, were guest VJ’s on MTV. I have always been a Brontë sisters fan, and Wuthering Heights has always been my favorite – so I was immediately drawn into the song.

From there, I started swimming in her albums and music. I vividly remember wearing out my cassette of Kate Bush The Whole Story in my red Honda Civic (my first car).

It was from that cassette that I fell hard for my favorite (at least as of today) Kate Bush song. So, without further ado, here are my Top Ten favorites.
