Last night “In My Life” became my favorite Beatles song. There are explanations why that I actually filled eight pages of a journal with this morning. Hand-written. I’ve not done that in so long. The song and the night is marked now as significant. Big significant. The stuff memories are made of “kind of significant”. Life is full of surprises, and magic, music, and love.
“In My Life” is on my favorite Beatles Album, Rubber Soul. It is the album I’ve carried with me inside for as long as I can remember. For as long as I’ve been on this earth. Maybe even before. The songs feel familiar and personal and in some ways narrative of pieces from my life. As if a story is slowly unraveling and these songs are part of it. Its that magic of music, the synchronicity that can be found in it. I’m feeling this song so much today. I’m feeling it become something more.

Song of the Day
“Though I know I’ll never lose affection,
for people and things that went before.
I know I’ll often stop and think about them.
In my life,
I love you more.”
