“A Little More Love” was the first Single Released from the Album Juliana Hatfield Sings Olivia Newton-John. It was a Track-teaser, so to speak, and was such a surprise to me – a delightful surprise – I had to immediately pre-order the Album from American Laundromat Records.
Even Clyde, my cat, loves the Album:
I loved this Cover at first listen, and it is one of my Favorites off the Album (tied for 1st, actually). This Song is so well-suited for Juliana’s Vocal range, style, and that mix of raw vulnerability and tough edge she’s always had. I’m so Obsessed with this Song.
“A Little More Love” was originally the lead Single off of Olivia’s 1978 Album, Totally Hot. For whatever reason, this is the one Olivia Album from the 70’s-80’s that I didn’t own. That said, I’d heard it on the Radio, and had the Song on 45″ Single.

The Single was a worldwide Top 10 hit single, peaking at #4 in the UK and #3 in the US. In Canada, it spent three weeks at #2 during February and March 1979 and was the 7th biggest Canadian hit of that year. (from Wikipedia)
I thought Olivia looked like end-of-Grease Sandy on the Single cover. And those shoes!
