Tuesday feels like riding a roller coaster, the kind that goes upside down, and takes the curves just a bit too quickly. You feel like you are hanging on for your life, holding your breath, bracing for a crash. But I’m still breathing. I’m hanging on tight, but my eyes are open. Its really just another day, one of To-Do lists, money stress, and worries about things outside of my control. To combat it all I’ve been cleaning my office, drinking a protein shake, took a lunch and watched some Hulu, and now I have the music turned up as loud as an office will allow. Today’s Top 5 Music Obsessions are helping me survive, and conquer.

Song 1 is “Secrets” by GGOOLLDD. GGOOLLDD was recommended to me by fellow Music Obsessive and gig-friend Jackie. We have similar taste so if she said go listen I pretty much knew I’d dig what I heard. Yep, I dig this, BBIIGG TTIIMMEE.
Next up is “Television Romance” by Pale Waves. This is another recommendation from a fellow blogger, Music lover, and cool long-distance friend. Susan sent me a Mix CD back in November of last year. Its lived in my car ever since. I was playing it again this morning and kept hitting repeat on this Song. I’m definitely a fan.
“Tree Futures” by TORRES is another “discovery” from Always On The Run. And Track 4 is a re-discovery from the same site – “Get Your Head Down” by The Baby Namboos. It’s been ages since I listened to them. Cheers to re-finding Music you loved in the past.
Last, but not least, is a Duran Duran Song I’ve been Obsessing over ever since I compiled my Top 10 Duran Duran Songs list last week. “A Matter Of Feeling” has been getting some heavy rotation in my life since last Tuesday, as is the entire Album, Notorious.
