I’m having a Reality Bites/Laney Pierce kind of day. Seriously, I woke up with a scene from the film running through my brain and all I really wanted to do was crawl back into bed, slip my copy of the movie in, and watch it — on repeat.

I’m having to “adult” so hard right now, in all aspects of my life, that I’d really like to travel back to 1994, be twenty-five again, renting a small apartment, smoking too much, drinking bad coffee way, way too late, and rocking Laney’s 90’s hair.

But, life prevails, and I had to get up and off to work, so the best I can do is make it the “movie of the day”, shut my office door and play the soundtrack — loudly — and sneak a few scenes in, too.

And, well, wish I was making out with Troy Dyer.
