Countdown to Pete Yorn’s ArrangingTime :: Day 6 of 11
Day six is a rainy and gloomy one here in Los Angeles (yes, it does rain in Southern California – sometimes) and something about the weather this morning has me longing for Summer. Perhaps this is due to waking up with the opening track of the upcoming ArrangingTime stuck in my head – the song Summer was a Day. Or maybe it is a reaction to the grey, wet skies of this early morning. Either way, I think I’ve stumbled on our Day six theme.
Let’s take a listen to five songs of Pete’s that deal with sun and Summertime, shall we? Perhaps it will ease the anticipation a little for his new album (we are getting closer), while warming us up for the day – the latter especially for those in winter or wet weather this Sunday.
As a reminder, if you haven’t pre-ordered the album yet, if you click hereand are among the next 200 VINYL orders your album will be signed. There’s still time! Also, though, you can order the album as a digital download, or as a CD – click here, as well as other fun merchandise (tee shirts, hats, past albums) – click here.
And if you have Apple Music, you can screen the entire album early – right now.
Oh, and if I hadn’t mentioned it before, Pete starts the first leg of his tour tomorrow, in Berlin, Germany, at Gruener Salon. I cannot recommend enough seeing Pete live, if you can. The current tour dates can be seen here. I’ll be at the San Francisco one, and hopefully more later in the year.

The Radiohead-esque song! Very good.
