Countdown to Pete Yorn’s ArrangingTime :: Day 4 of 11

We’ve made it to Day 4, and its a Friday, too. This time next week ArrangingTime will be out, my song-by-song review of it will be up, and hopefully many of you will have a copy of it to spin and enjoy. But, we still have a week to go, and more countdown fun to be had to keep us going.

I thought we’d do two things today. One, is gear up for the weekend with one of the tracks from ArrangingTime, Lost Weekend, which is a fantastic song and a stellar mini-movie of a music video, directed by Maria Innes Manchego. Its a coming-of-age story in the indie teen movie vein. A boy who deals with some assholes at school, takes his emotions out on his drums, and gets the girl in the end! So, let’s get ready for our own lost (or found) weekends first.

Then, to correspond with the Friday Music Theme of “The Name Game“, I will count down my Top 5 Pete Yorn songs with names in the song, or in the title. There’s a bunch to choose from, so this should be fun.

But before all that I want to remind you that if you haven’t pre-ordered the album yet, if you click here and are among the next 200 VINYL orders your album will be signed. There’s still time! And it is an AMAZING album – it really, really is. Go now go!!!

      1. Oh also, I want you to know that I’m not pre-ordering the vinyl or anything (and my record player has croaked sadly anyway) but I fully intend to buy this new album so that sale is on you.
