Beckettlives nominated me for the “My Sisterhood of the Bloggers Award” – thank you so much! First of all, you should check out her amazing write on her blog here – and also see her 10-questions answers that accompany the award. Second, I will answer the 10-questions that she gave to me, and finally, I will nominate my own 10 female bloggers for the award/to answer 10-questions that I come up with.
Here are my answers to the 10-questions given to me:
1. What would you do with 200 million bucks?
That’s a lot of money.
I’d pay off my debts and my family and friends debts. Pay for university for myself and my kids, and set aside money for them for their lives so money would not be the decision maker for what they did with their lives/careers/paths. TRAVEL, write and learn. Set up grants for artists and musicians and filmmakers, and for schools from low grades through to higher education to allow for the arts to flourish, and be available to everyone to learn. Help support funds for education and opportunity for kids, and adults, with different learning and social issues, help support mental health issues and education, and help create safe places for people to live, seek education, and create no matter what their comfort and/or realities may be (social, emotional, mental).
I’d also see a hell of a lot of concerts and music festivals.
2. What is your favorite color and if you could would you switch it for another?
Blue, with some close runner up colors of black, grey and brown. No, I’m happy with my favorite colors.
3. What’s your favorite character in a book?
Just one? That’s rough.
Beatrice Jordan, God-Shaped Hole (Tiffanie DeBartolo)
4. Your favorite author or poet?
Again, just one?
Francesca Lia Block
