This movie will make you hungry. Seriously, so much delicious food being cooked and prepared and fingered and fondled, and really, this movie is food porn. It is also a very real, very heartwarming story about family, friendships, and dreams.

Oh, and the music, oh my stars, the music is amazing. The film’s soundtrack made me unsure of what I wanted more: to eat all the delicious looking food, or go dancing.

The movie also made me wish that John Leguizamo was cast in more films. He is so terribly underused, especially in the last ten years.

This movie was one of my favorites of 2014.
