Another flawlessly timeless mix…just one thing “2 Wicky” is by Hooverphonic and not Portishead. They do share same Isaac Hayes sample, though.
I meant Hooverphonic, typo. Wil fix immediately. Thanks for catching that…Glad you like. It is actually based in part on three mixes we made together in “another life”, as they say, with some additions here and there.
You still have those? I thought they looked familiar. Do you remember the original name(s) of the mixes…it’s been so long or as you say “another life.” it sometimes feels that way, doesn’t it?
Yes, of course, why wouldn’t I? We made some amazing mixes.
There were 3 and they had 20 songs each with the following titles:
If you leave the movies don’t you forget: The soundtrack mix, Volume one
A bittersweet screen kiss to the hazy shade of: The soundtrack mix, Volume two
If you were here with box office chocolate and: The soundtrack mix, Volume three
I made some adjustments and took from the 2nd mix for some as I like my playlists to be 30 songs, but the majority of the music and feel of it came from us.
Yes, it does seem that way. We were good at mixing music together.
