A Lizard State :: King Krule
from the album, 6 Feet Beneath the Moon
directed by Jamie-James Medina

A Lizard State, is a single by King Krule/Archy Marshall off last year’s 6 Feet Beneath the Moon.

6 Feet Beneath the Moon is the debut album by King Krule, the stage name of British singer-songwriter Archy Marshall. The album was released on his nineteenth birthday, August 24, 2013

The black-and-white clip finds King Krule standing horizontally on the walls and playing guitar in a suit. Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s film Dial M for Murder, the video kicks off with a clip from “Hitchcock Presents“.

There’s an actual lizard in there, too – can you find it?

Editor’s note: Kid Krule is another great music recommendation from my oldest daughter, Julia, who is always has a plethora of new music ready to share at any time (especially from the UK). This song is great, as is the entire album (go listen, if you haven’t already), and I love this Hitchcock take of a video, and hope it extends the reach of Kid Krule’s song, album, and music.
