She Moves In Her Own Way :: The Kooks
from the album, Inside In/Inside Out

She Moves in Her Own Way is a song by British band The Kooks and is featured on their debut album, Inside In/Inside Out. It was released in June 2006, as the fifth single from that album, charting at # 7 in the UK Singles Chart.

The music video (see above) features the band in Tijuana, Mexico.

The song is also featured on the 2006 compilation album, The Acoustic Album, and the 2007 compilation, The Saturday Sessions: The Dermot O’Leary Show (EMI).

Editor’s Note: We bought dresses at a corner vintage store, the had swing and sway to them, and we matched them up with a mixture of post-modern make-up, black fishnets and suede boots. We carried around flyers to assorting places to drink, dance and detour our lives, at least for an evening. Sometimes I miss those late nights in Hollywood, in the very late eighties. This song was not around then, but the feel of it, something about it, reminds me of us getting ready to go out.
