1. What music (or other art form) inspires you when you create your art?

Anything that grooves or struts, be it films, novels or music.

2. Long distance road trip: what three people do you invite along (fictional or non-fictional, dead or alive)?

Tom Jones, David Brent and Sister Wendy. Sadhbh wanted to bring Earthworm Jim but I don’t know him so it would just be awkward.

3. What is your favorite breakfast cereal?

Classic Frosties.

4. What is one thing that is hanging on your bedroom wall?

Laurie: A cross section illustration of an X wing from Star Wars.
Sadhbh: A sexy Muppets poster.

5. What smell/scent evokes strong memories for you?

Tobacco and desire.

6. Coffee or tea?

7. What has been the most impactful compliment, or criticism, you have ever received?

“I really like that jumper” because I wasn’t sure of the jumper.

8. Three words that describe you?

Laurie: Animalistic, Polite and Impolite (to animals).
Sadhbh: Strong, Impulsive and Sensitive.

9. What is/was your cartoon character crush?

Laurie: Jessica Rabbit.
Sadhbh: Earthworm Jim.

10. The world is ending in ten minutes and you get to listen to one, and only one, song: Which song?

Laurie: Dion – Only You Know

Sadhbh: I’d sit in an ice cream van and listen to the music, driving around until we all died.

To learn more about Laurie and Sadhbh’s music head over here, ASAP.

You can also spin some sounds here and here, or follow their tweets here.

You can always go and like them on Facebook here, too (why not do it all).

Also, check back in NEXT WEEK to their soon-to-be-released website – HERE – to hear more.

I would like to thank Laurie and Sabhbh for participating in the Keep Art Alive: Ten Questions Project, and for making music that has me bouncing around and hitting replay, again and again, and thanking the musical universe for the gift of discovering keen new artists and musicians.

Go now go and check out more of her work, listen to her album, check for shows, and buy something if you can. Keep art alive and show your support, always.

Don’t forget to go and vote for Red Elephant, who have been participating in the 2013 Red Bull Bedroom Jam HERE. I voted, and you should, too. We KEEP ART ALIVE around here!
