This movie, my most favorite ever movie, touches something in me that is beyond words, and beyond explanations. I feel so deeply akin to Clementine that watching her character hurts deeply sometimes. Other times, it gives me the comfort in not feeling alone in my own kind of fucked up girl-ness. I get her, I get Joel, I get what they have, what they lose, and what they fight so damn hard to hold on to. This is a love story to me, the most real, and the most perfect in all its imperfectness. This is love, to me.
