30-Day Song Challenge :: Day 25 :: A Song That Makes You Laugh

My husband is a huge fan and rabid connoisseur of all things parody, he even wrote and sold a song to Weird Al, an ode to Craigslist set to a Jim Morrison/Doors medley. Now, I will admit, that I am not all that knowledgeable on parody, nor am I a huge fan, but over the last three plus years of being together I have certainly grown some appreciation for it, and there are some parody songs that not only stick in my head for a very long time, but also make me laugh hysterically.

A recent find is the Key of Awesome’s take on Gotye’s overplayed Somebody I Used To Know, that I am quite sure everybody has heard a near gazillion times. This whole song, from the Peter Gabriel references, to the one guitar, to the ending part that gets me every time about Tony being the only one who can make the “clinky noise”, this one most certainly makes me laugh – a lot.
