30-Day Song Challenge :: Day 3 :: A Song That Makes You Happy

There was once a time where a mix tape made by me would not be complete without a song from The Cure. And this song, Lovecats, was one of the most repeated players in my mixed up menagerie of songs. There is something so carefree and damn danceable about this song. It matters not what kind of foul mood may be upon me, this song will immediately give me a lift and have me not only singing, but bopping along. This song is a turn it up loud, car concert kind of song well suited for long drive playlists, and flirtatious, “I am over-the moon interested in you” mix-CD’s (the love/lust letter of my generation).
